Spanish influences
In 1991-2 I took a year away from architecture school to work in the studio of Juan Navarro-Baldeweg, architect and artist, in Madrid. Although I later moved away from architecture, it was a year which opened up my eyes to a wide variety of influences. It was a privilege to be a part of that group and to absorb the environment, the discussions. It was such an unusual mixture that it still resonates.
